after doing FANTASTICS for 4 years straight, it's been the best experience i've ever felt. with all the stress, people dissing me for going to practices every week, sleepless nights, and hard work, it always paid off in the end. every single year i've joined, it's brought me closer and closer to everybody. and looking back at all of the performances done, i can truly say that we've progressed and we saved the best performance for last.
even though we came in 2nd place this year, it's all good. who gives a care? it's just a friendly competition. sure, it would have been nice to come in 1st place like every other senior class...but this just comes to show that it isn't rigged like everybody thinks it is. we got our 1st place in homecoming, and that's enough for me in my book.
c/o 2009, it was a great experience for performing with you guys.
throughout the past 4 years, we've been the class that's always brought something new to the table. we're the class that brought out more diversity of dances, not just hip hop routine after hip hop routine, which i'm not dissing any other class for doing.
after performing, i cried my eyes out. fantastics is all i've known for the past 4 years. now, what am i gonna do next year? i took a good look around the civic, it's been like...so familiar to be around, but now...no more performing there with 09. i took a good look around the people, which i've grown to know and love. it's sad to say we're all going in different directions really soon. that whole atmosphere of everyone crying...it wowed me
to the juniors: you guys TOTALLY DESERVED to win. after all you guys have been through, especially with homecoming, that whole shirt controversy. your effort really showed yesterday night during the performance. it blew me away. heck, it blew me away when i was watching you guys rehearse on friday. GREAT JOB! =)
to the seniors: you know i love you all so much. hard to believe it's all over, FANTASTICS that is. imagine graduation...water works the whole time. 2nd place...pssh, it's just a number. we know we've won an experience that'll last a lifetime. i dont know what else to write...everything is in my heart, and it shows.
sophomores, you better step up your game. you're the successors of 09 yeah? =)
just wanted to add, THANKS 09. THANK YOU FOR MAKING MY HIGH SCHOOL YEARS THE BEST IT'LL EVER BE. you're like my 2nd family, who loves to stress out about dancing haha...it's not even the end of the year yet, and i already miss you guys.
